CFD Engineer (Sale, Support and Consulting)

GexCon US is seeking to strengthen our CFD team.  We are looking for a candidate with an MS/PhD or similar degree with a strong CFD background and experience (~2-8 years preferable). The aim is that the person shall become an expert user of our software FLACS, and with time, independently perform the following tasks:

 

  • Technical support and training courses for customers in the Americas
  • Software sales, demonstrate FLACS software in meetings or conferences
  • Manage or support FLACS consulting projects at GexCon US
  • Communicate findings of projects in the form of reports and presentations to our clients or in a public forum such as a government entity or in a legal setting

 

We are looking for a well qualified person that can has an established CFD background from academics and previous work, has an analytical approach, and has good written and oral communication skills. The candidate should be prepared for some travel.

 

Experience in the following fields are not required, but would be an asset when evaluating the candidates:

 

  • Process safety (dispersion/explosion)
  • Linux and Windows knowledge
  • Communication skills in Spanish

 

The candidate should be a US Citizen or have the necessary work permits.
